The official launch of Peter Knaggs’ amazing new collection “My Blue Suede Shoes Are at the Cleaners”.
We will have Peter reading from his new collection, our first One Hat Q and A with Peter, special book offers and a pre gig film show.
We’ve also got music from the legendary and brilliant Guy Gibson.

As you’d expect from Peter this isn’t just a collection of poems. It’s a story of pain and angst, but also a story of strength and spirit and told with Peter’s trademark wit, humour and general all-round brilliance.

How do we cope when faced with indiscriminate victimisation? How do we deal with arbitrary persecution? This is an amazing and heartbreaking tale of a personal battle against harassment and discrimination, but it’s a tale that glimmers with hope and burns with defiance.
Peter’s personal battle reveals the horrendous impact of unchecked power on decent folk and the injustice and exploitation it permits. Never has there been a more relevant and frightening analogy for the modern times than this collection.
