PURPLE,A CELEBRATION OF PRINCE@UnionMashUp SAT 4TH JUNE@bluebeany @DarrenDjd77

On the second of April I organised a Prince night called “Purple”. that was weirdly inspired by Bowie dying, I wrote the following –
“Basically I decided I wanted to do this because after Bowie’s death we all re evaluated his back catalogue and realised how amazing it all was, so what I would like to do is re evaluate Prince’s back catalogue and celebrate his work while he is still alive .. A night playing nothing but his music, and including music he’s written for other artists such as Sheila E , The Family and The Time. – If you’re a Prince fan, come and celebrate with us. – Paul Weymes x”
It was a brilliant night and I cant believe that less than three weeks later I’m writing that Prince has died. So Im organising another Purple night on June the 4th at Union Mash Up. However this time ALL the door take will go to the British Red Cross and the entry fee will be £6. I’ll send invites when the event page is up.
Oh and the Bowie Roxy night that Anna and I were doing has been shelved as we’re using the nights booking at union mash for the Prince night .. we’ll do that another time.
