Hull Independent Cinema presents: The Salt Of The Earth (12A) (Dir: Juliano Ribeiro Salgado, Wim Wenders).

hic oct 2015, in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has witnessed some of the major events of our recent history; international conflicts, starvation and exodus. He is now embarking on the discovery of pristine territories, of wild fauna and flora, and of grandiose landscapes as part of a huge photographic project which is a tribute to the planet’s beauty. Wim Wender’s beautiful film shows us the photographer and his work in a new light.

Winner of the Best Documentary French Academy Award and the Special Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard competition at Cannes. In French, Portuguese and English, with English subtitles.
